I think the last unarguable superstar WR to win a Super Bowl was Marvin Harrison with the Colts in 2006. Since then it definitely hasn't been a position of strength in terms of elite WRs winning it all. Consider how good they were at the time they won it.

2018 Patriots: Edelman (12: 74-850-6)
2017 Eagles: Jeffery (57-789-9)
2016 Patriots: Edelman (98-1,106-3)
2015 Broncos: Thomas (105-1,304-6)
2014 Patriots: Edelman (14: 92-972-4)
2013 Seahawks: Tate (64-898-5)
2012 Ravens: Boldin (15: 65-921-4)
2011 Giants: Cruz (82-1,536-9)
2010 Packers: Jennings (76-1,265-12)
2009 Saints: Colston (70-1,074-9)
2008 Steelers: Ward (81-1,043-7)
2007 Giants: Burress (75-1,025-12)

Interesting thread. Never really thought of it like that but there's a lot of guys on that list that were great, but never really considered a "star" or so to speak outside of maybe Victor Cruz.

Lots of great players, but none of them were really a human highlight reel or a guy to get attention for torching the league.

Colston is probably the guy that gets the least love on that list. Dude was a monster possession WR in his prime.

Cruz gets my vote.

Best in terms of career, or best in terms of that season? If it's career, it's Hines Ward.

AT the time of the game, I'd like to say Cruz, man he had a good 3/4 year run.

Edelman is easily the best playoff performer of them all. Think Jeffrey is the worst overall here.

Cruz in 2011 was awesome but people seem to forget Hakeem Nicks that post season was money.

So I put Cruz/Nicks 2011 Giants up there.

FWIW Cruz has the most YDs & TD's, that was with Eli as his QB.

He was elite during that 2011-2013 run. Sucks injuries killed his career.
