He's not, it's a perception not based on actually watching either player regularly.
That is why there is tons of negative stigma around Klingberg still.

In 3-4 seasons Provorov and Werenski will seriously be considered. I think Jones is close to 400 gp already, which for a defenseman is everything. Its really hard to imagine anyone passing him unless he misses a lot of time or his development just stalls, which is hard to imagine as he's Torts' workhorse on the blueline.

OEL is a tier below Klingberg if anything. Not better than Klingberg at any part of the game. In fact, personally I'd take almost every dman mentioned on this poll over OEL. So overrated on here
