Clearly Anaheim.. Not just because of the 1st round pick but Anaheim drafts well every year. Their D core is young and they already have their goalie for the next 10 years.

I'll argue that it's Ottawa because having nothing is better than some of the brutal contracts that Anaheim has. Plus Ottawa has some good prospecta and is about to get a whole bunch more.

Roster wise, definitely Ottawa but their owners definitely going to limit them.

Looking entirely at what players/futures each team has this is Ottawa and not close. BUT of course there are some significant negative factors going on in Ottawa.

I'll still say Ottawa, but very hesitantly

Ottawa is the better drafting team(not by much) and has a ton of good pieces to build around but their owner ruins it for them.

Anaheim because they’re not owned by Melnyk, it’s that simple. I actually like Ottawa better long term if it weren’t for that.

On paper maybe it should be Ottawa but in reality, Melnyk will make sure Anaheim recovers earlier.

They draft very well. It’s a pity their owner is an idiot. They could’ve been an Anaheim of several years back if he wasn’t effectively actively working against them.

Going with Anaheim due to ownership.

Ducks in every way possible. Ownership, current players, current prospect pool, having their own first rounder this season. The Sens are an absolute trainwreck.

A week ago, with a sudden change of ownership, I'd like Ottawa's roster better but they are in the middle of getting rid of young players who should be the cornerstone of a rebuild. If you don't have good ownership you have nothing. Clearly the Ducks.

Why? Anaheim has littke to no offense left but theyve got lots of young dmen.

Get rid of Melnyk and I'd take Ott. Mostly cuz of drafting and the prospects we have

...the team NOT owned by Eugene Melnyk? Is this supposed to be a trick question?
