I'm still waiting to see if we keep him.

If we do... Guentzel-Crosby-Sprong could leave a trail of dead thick enough to choke all three rivers.

And if Crosby is playing with a sniper, its Sprong, not Kessel. I think Sprong could be like Sheary was in late 2016-17, only with a better shot, and harder to muscle off the puck so the line doesn't get hemmed into its own zone so much.

But I think he could gel well with all our centres.

Decent change he's traded though.

I believe that line had like 3 shifts together and it was awesome. The thing that I always sort of forget about Sprong is that he's not a small guy. If he were with Sid and Jake, he'd be the biggest one. When he fills out there is no reason why he can't be 6'0 200 lbs. That's a big guy who can wheel, shoot, and pass.

EDIT: I really would like to see a Hagelin-Malkin-Sprong line getting a look next year. Ice follies in the netherworld are more likely.
