Who holds the record for most career points in the Finals?
well, Beliveau played in 13 finals by my count, which I would think is enough to make up for Gretzky's ridiculous point totals (which were spread out over more rounds).
gretzky made 6 finals
he won 4 and lost 2
Why are you having a poll on this?
This question was one of 10 on a recent ESPN.com NHL trivia questionnaire. The lone question I missed was "How many players were part of all five of Edmonton's previous Cup winners?" That answer was 7. I guessed 5.
who were the 7
Messier fuhr lowe anderson huddy kurri greeg
The answer is: Glenn Anderson, Grant Fuhr, Randy Gregg, Charlie Huddy, Jari Kurri, Kevin Lowe and Mark Messier. The 10 questions can be found on www.ESPN.com, click on SPORTSNATION, then POLL and you will see a bunch listed. There is one called Stanley Cup Quiz (something like that).
Beliveau totaled 62 points (30 goals, 32 assists) in 64 finals games with Montreal. Gretzky is second with 53 points (18 goals, 35 assists) in 31 games with Edmonton and Los Angeles.
That's absolutely incredible.
