Pouliot - Upside = Top notch 2nd line center Downside = 4th line center/PP specialist
Wikner - Upside = 3rd line grinder with scoring upside Downside = 4th line grinder

Verdict = Pouliot

Is this some sort of joke gone bad?

A Flames fan by the name of greenEGGSnham came on the Oilers board telling us how incompetent our scouting staff was, how bad our draft was and how superior the Flames draft was.

His post had a few doozies in it:

-Kris Chucko (Compared to Iginla but i would compare him more to a Guerin or Nash or even a Shanahan)

-Fred Wikner (Just think of a little better version of Johansson but more upside than MAPoulliot)

-James Spratt (The only goalie i would rank above him is Scwartz. This was highway robbery)

-Devon Dubnyk (the had a chance at Schenider, Schwartz, ands Spratt.)

-Robbie Schremp (Could have traded up for Chucko. Is said to be out of shape and has an attitude problem.)

-Roman Tseliuk (Don't know much about him but he can't be better than Alex Henry of Chris Hajt?)

-Liam Reddox (he's tiny. If you were going after Reddox why not just go after Chris Bourque who's exponentially better) Update - Bourque - 5'7.5 Reddox - 5'11 and Bourque also went 2 rounds before Reddox.

I won't bother voting because it's an absolutely ridiculous poll, but I will say, you should've made it public so you could see who the one vote for Wikner was

The post is obviously only good for a laugh. Not sure why you need to prove anything, the guy has proven himself a joke.
