My bet is on Pearson, but they won't get much for him.
Probably not. I think he needs a fresh start with a team like Pittsburgh.
What would you guys be looking for in a swap for Pearson?
Pearson for O. Tippett...
Management has to decide to go into rebuild mode first. They might make a coaching change before doing that.
This is one of the most expensive rosters in the NHL. When ownership is spending that much money they expect results.
Crouse or Perlini.
maybe Amart for S. Reinhart
Id be interested in K. Connautin if you want Forbort too.
Mod please add an "ALL OF THE ABOVE" option.
10 ASU coeds.
Can I request that it be Robitaille?
I wish. Though Scandella and Martinez would be a good pairing.
Everyone except Doughty and Kopi! All are on the trading block. But for this thread I hope it's Forbort and Clifford!!!
They have a need for a veteran Man to help Dahlin and Amart could still put up points especially on a more offensive scheme/team/conference..
Pearson for Sprong
Pearson. Decent skater, that's about it. The 8.3 shooting percentage was a concern last season, the 0 shooting percentage is scratch worthy.
But while we’re at it, if theres a package to be composed for an upgrade, make sure Adrian Kempe is a part of it. Cash in on last season and head for the hills.
You probably would get more from Toffoli or Carter. Though the Kings like Toffoli’s cupcake fetish and calendar garbage etc. So I think Carter is on the way out, probably to Philadelphia.
Sure, I just think it is in Blake and Robitaille's DNA to make a trade like dealing Pearson and calling it a real shakeup.
Retool on the fly, cash in on some assets still living on their past... grab some additional picks. Bring in some speed.
Disagree, you dont put the cart before the horse by trading away players without first finding a new coach. You got to fire your coach and hire another coach and then pick a system. Then you figure out who can and cant fit or adapt to the new system.
Pearson. He's been abysmal. Creates nothing. Doesn't beat defenders anymore and cannot score. I would say Martinez second. He does not suck, but think the Kings could get something for him. (or Muzzin) I bet they like Walker enough to keep him in the lineup now and move one of Marty or Muzzin. Carter a possibility too. He is not skating hard. Just basically MEH. But so are many others.
Expect a bit more from him. If the Kings are blowing dead apes at the deadline, could get more for him then. Ladue? Could not get anything for him at this point. I still think he can play and deserves a chance. Would rather keep him. Would get little to nothing for him and he actually has upside and worth keeping.
