Drum roll please ...........
Our Leafs and Leaf nation are going through some pre playoff anxiety with the post season around the corner and our mighty Blue and White jockeying for position and possible home ice advantage . They are also trying to work out some kinks and fine tuning their playoff game and healing up for hopefully a long run in this years playoffs ......
In light of our special St . Pats throw back Jerseys and reminiscing about our great history .
let’s all take a bit of a breather from it all , relax , have a drink or two , listen to some tunes and chill ...
In your estimation ...

Who are your candidates for the ultimate , Top Ten Toronto Maple Leaf players in order starting from 10 finishing off with number 1
Here’s my list

10 Mats Sundin
9 Wendell Clark
8 Turk Broda
7 George Armstrong
6 Borje Salming
5 Johnny Bower
4 Darryl Sittler
3 Syl Apps
2 Teeder Kennedy
1 Dave Keon

Special thoughts to

Matthews is not number 1 yet. He needs to play more games. He hasnt been a top 5 player in the league for any of his seasons, while gilmour was 2nd or 3rd best player for a couple. And sundin was consistently great. Matthews has the talent to become number 1 but he needs more time to prove himself.

Im a big Mathews fan but having him on a list already is crazy. He may never win a playoff round and be gone in five years. Who knows. He could become the greatest leaf but it’s way to early.
