Crosby is probably the strongest with the puck. Most people don’t realize that he’s one of the heaviest guys per inch of height in the nhl. His trainer has stated that Crosby is upwards of 210lbs. His listed height is 5’11 so u can bet he’s probably a touch shorter. Guy is an absolute tank. Malkin is up there as well. Ovy is probably the strongest guy hitting wise. He’s pretty easy to knock of the puck tho.

Eichel has massive legs. He would be the Sabres strongest, maybe in contention league wide as he ages even another year or two.

Anybody in the league could throw a monster hit when it’s late or blindside, they just aren’t absolute scum
He’s also blown up way more players who braced for him... and players have come up and hit him from all sides only to be shrugged off, and multiple occasions he’s shrugged off(as in knocked down)/hit two players at the same time and stayed up.

The guy battles along the boards well and holds the puck since the past postseason into this season (now that he’s really playing offense) and does a darn good job fighting off defenders; he takes the puck to the net battling through defenders... puck handling and skating was more his fault than a lack of strength.

It’s perfectly fine to hate him, but he’s definitely one of the stronger players in the league.

That said; Ovechkin has to be up there. Absolute tank. Didn’t Buff play forward at some point? Does that count?

I was gonna say Evander Kane. I never seen Crosby knocked off the puck although that might be balance vs. just strength. Wilson if you give him six-eight strides and the guy isn't looking he'll launch into him with just brute force not seen on an NHL ice surface.

Hertl has been playing some great powerforward hockey for the Sharks this year. Learned from the School of Jagr how to fend of dmen and use his size to protect the puck. Plus, he is a forechecking machine and wins puck battles he shouldn't be winning.

Maybe not the best in the league, but he's doing a lot for the Sharks' possession game these days.

Oh-wet-skin is an animal. The time he put Kadri on his squat rack was hilarious.

Rantanen is hard to push around, and has super butt control. Jagr butt.
