I assume that Alfredsson is the Sens team rep, Guerin the Stars rep and Klatt is the Kings' rep. Is Irbe the 'Canes rep? Aren't Boughner & Damphousse both on the Avs now?

Brendan Morrison is Vancouvers

Any more info?
at this stage of the game ... this is the only one you need to know

President - Trevor Linden

if he signs off on the deal, the players will vote for it and will not until that time comes.

IMO ...

I don't think he's relating it to the lockout, DR... he's probably just curious about the full scope of who is involved from the NHLPA in these negotiations.

Am I the only one that thinks its odd that Artrius Irbe is a NHLPA rep?

Is he even in the AHL anymore? Last I heard, I thought he was demoted to the ECHL and WCHL?

Rangers-Dale Purinton

They couldn't find anyone else? :shakehead

Are you kidding? He's really the rep? I mean I could understand if it was one of the guys who were traded at the deadline or something, like Leetch, and he's just the replacement. But if not, he's the best they could do? Can he even read?

Look at the list of each team's player reps. How many of them can read?If the player reps are the best and brightest of the PA members, then no wonder it's January 30th with no agreement in sight

I have no idea if Dale Purinton, or for that matter, most of the other player reps, are up on everything that is going on. I would guess some are better than others and that they all are strong NHLPA supporters. Which is part of the problem. Only strong union supporters would want the job as player rep so the more moderate players are under-represented in the player rep ranks.

The player rep duties are two-sided. He not only needs to keep his teammates informed about what the NHLPA is doing (and he has the help of a website to accomplish that task) but he should also be telling the NHLPA brass what the players are thinking. I wonder if that is happening.
