Like last year Brown on the kings had one after he was looking like he would be out of the league soon. Who are some other guys who appear to be having a bounce back year.

Another one this year I have heard is Lucic looking serviceable this year. Zaitsev for the Leafs has been really good so far which is encouraging. Who else?

Letang for sure. Looking more like his old dominant self than the miserable version we saw last year.

Not sure if that is a bounce back year though. Bounce back implies he was at that level and then was bad and then is getting that level back. That would be a career year for him.

    Maybe others disagree

Brady Skjei looks like a future top pairing dman again after a terrible sophomore slump. He makes mistakes and has too low of a hockey IQ to be a 1D but his defensive stick work is actually really good and he can rush end to end like anyone else but problem is he doesn’t know what to do with the puck once he gets to the offensive zone. I expect him to be a solid 2D going forward

That sounds like a confidence issue to me. Is coaching staff really hard on the kids who try stuff? Sometimes coaching can stifle offense/creativity in order to encourage a safer game, and it makes kids overthink it.

I thought I read that he had changed his diet and this offseason went back to what was working before? Good for him if he can keep it up.

Jason Spezza. 8 points in 9 games so far. On pace for 73 points

He looks like the pre-Hitch era Spezza we all knew and loved

Domi and Tatar for the Habs have changed the dynamic of the team.

These are all fairly short sample sizes.
But Mr Bryan Little on the Jets has looked really good. 3 game winning goals, great defensively just really solid.
He took a lot of heat last year so good for him for the bounce back

Brent Burns didn’t have a poor enough year last year to call anything he does this year a “bounce-back year”, but he did have a terrible start last year, and he has had a fantastic start this year.

Funny, when he was having an off year people could not go a day without a thread ripping him.

    Pretty quiet now.

    I am rooting for him.

Going back to last season a little bit but Parise has been on a tear since getting healthy. Over PPG dating back to March 1, 2018. Looking great and has been a huge difference maker for the Wild.

Klefbom. He was terrible last year, this year he looks a lot more like the guy from 2 years ago.

According to who? Slavin has been great. I'm sure you haven't watched a single Hurricanes game.

Your obsession with Slavin is hilarious and kind of sad. Let it go mate.
