We had a fantasy draft on the HF games section for the 2020-2021 season/playoffs. Please select the team from each matchup that would win in a 7 game series. B1 leading is a surprise

How? It has the best player listed out of all teams (Crosby) - especially for playoffs - and also the best goalie listed (I'm not as high on Helle as others - but majority would rank him best among this group)

With so many teams and players listed at the same time - it's hard to focus on all lines and individual players - usually I just go for biggest strengths/weaknesses, and those 2 jump out easily

That's the issue, there's a whole lot more to a team than their top-line center and goalie.

And Drai > Crosby btw :)

I don't disagree that there's a whole lot more to a team - but there's 8 teams listed. If it was 2 teams head to head I think it'd be easier to do a full analysis is all I'm saying.

Even if you say Drai > Crosby, he'd be #2. And for playoffs (ie this poll) - not so sure Drai would come out ahead in a "who you pick first".

Crosby's been pretty bad the past two years in the playoffs. Drai has had over a ppg in every playoff performance so far in his career. (2, which isn't saying much unfortunately)

I'll try not to turn this into a Crosby vs Drai thread though lol. I just think that its kind of unfair to the posters who participated in the fantasy draft to vote without really looking through the matchups. We've taken that feedback though and from next game onwards we'll keep the polls on the GM Game board.

That isn't directed at you in particular, but I think the average HF poster doesn't pay too much attention to these.
