Let's see if we can get together a list of traded 2005 picks...

2nd Round:
Colorado from Phoenix
NY Rangers from Philadelphia
NY Rangers from Toronto
Chicago from Nashville
Washington from Ottawa
San Jose from Calgary

3rd Round:
Philadelphia from Dallas
Edmonton from Philadelphia

4th Round:
Carolina from Toronto
Minnesota from Buffalo
Chicago from Los Angeles
Colorado from Anaheim

6th Round:
Colorado from Edmonton
Buffalo from Minnesota

That's all I found. Any others?

I think Carolina has Phoenix's 3rd round pick (Tanabe trade)

Phoenix and Columbus swapped picks (PHX gets CBS 4th and CBS got PHX 6th - Suchy trade)

Carolina has Atlanta's 3rd (draft day trade), Phoenix's 3rd (Tanabe trade) and Dallas's 4th (Svoboda trade) in addition to the Toronto 4th you have listed.

Of course everybody held onto their 1st rounder; they all wanted a chance to land Crosby! I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of draft day activity though.

you may see some teams deal their 1sts on draft day if they don't land a top 5 pick

how come Florida only has 2 chances or balls in the draft lottery?

Actually they only have one. They haven't made the playoffs the past three years, but they've won two lotteries (doesn't matter that they traded the pick both times). That takes away two balls from their original three, leaving the same single chance as NJ, DET, COL, etc.

Buffalo has San Jose's 9th rounder per the Andy Delmore 3 way swap.

no doubt and i'm not sure when trades will be allowed but if trades are allowed you might start seeing trades as soon as the lottery is done and teams know where they will pick.

:biglaugh:

Whomever that 9th rounder turns into, it will be well worth it. Even if it is only a 7 round draft, The Sabres will still get the better of the deal!!!

Believe Washington traded it's 3rd round choice this year to Dallas. Part of a draft day trade last year when the CAPS picked Clayton Barthel.
