Barkov? Eichel? Draisaitl? Which reason and why?
All of them ideally
As much as it pains me to say this...it's Barkov. It's not particularly close (IMO), either. Almost a lock for 20/50+ while playing a strong defensive game.
Out of those 3? Barkov. Great in both ends of the ice
Barkov for me as a Canes fan. I'd love to see him working between Aho and TT. That line would be nasty.
Barkov. No debate to be had.
Barkov for sure. What an unbelievably good player. He's like a Bergeron on steroids.
Draisitl needs to prove he can put up points without McDavid.. I have my doubts.
All 3 are good, I'm about to get on the Barkov train. I used to call him over rated but the guy's the real deal. So for me the answer to the ? in the OP is him.
Barkov is 2nd.
Draisaitl is 3rd.
Barkov pretty easily
all 3 are great players, and will likely be 70 pts - PPG+ players, however, what Barkov can do in all 3 zones, on the PK, and his overall defensively abilities imo make up the points difference unless Drai and Eichel are hitting 90-100 pts and Barkov is sniffing in the 70s or less.
Wish Eichel had a little more talent around him, I think he has the potential to be a better player than Barkov but we’ll never know for sure because It won’t reflect in his numbers.
Having watched Bergeron for years Barkov just blows me away. The comparison between Bergy and Kopitar has always been that Bergeron is better defensively while Kopitar has the edge offensively but I honestly think Barkov will be better in both aspects by the end of his career.
Barkov is already a ppg all around player that could win multiple selkes, while being 1 year older than Eichel and the same age as Draisaitl. Gotta be Barkov.
I’d probably take him over all of the young centers not named McDavid. Two way elite centers is what wins Cups.
All of them are excellent young centres but Barkov to me brings the most at both ends of the rink.
Barkov. Eichel. Drai. In that order.
Barkov, eichel, drai.
Order is easy
Barkov is cheaper than Drai and a perfect fit for Jets 2nd line. Eichel, I don't like. I'd rather keep Little than trade for him tbh.
