Which team(s) are pretty much out of the playoff race by Christmas?
Well the obvious examples would be the Sens and Habs....
Usually the Hurricanes would top that list. Hoping this year is different. So far, so good.
Canucks but so far it's fun
Vegas and LA will be out of it by Halloween.
Oilers, Canucks, Red Wings
You think LA will be out in December? I dont' think so...I think they likely make the playoffs this year....
That's it. I think a lot of the young spunky teams will surprise a playoff team now and then. There's a plethora of young talent in the league right now.
Canucks were dominated today but pulled off a win by being opportunistic with our young talent. I think the same will go for most others.
Wings, Sens, Oilers, Coyotes
Canucks look good early on. I can see them competing for a playoff spot until the very end.
rangers, red wings, yotes,
Sigh ... Oilers.
God willing we get new competent management.
looks like Vegas is sliding off the rails
Hopefully at least one of Oilers,Coyotes, or Sabres are still in it.
Oilers, Habs, Sabres
Besides the obvious id say Vegas, my surprise contender would be Carolina
Oilers will be out by Halloween. Spooky stuff
Theoretically no one, remember the Ducks a few years ago?
Not sure why people are listing the Islanders.
We have one of the best defenses and PKs in the league.
Lehner is on pace to allow zero goals this season...
The usual.... Oilers, Coyotes, Sabres along with a few newcomers Rangers, Red Wings, Habs and Sens. Sigh
There are lies, there are damned lies, and there are statistics.
The Oilers are usually out of it by Canadian Thanksgiving.
If Luongo doesn't make it back by Oct 23 @ NYR, you can add Florida.
With the parity nowadays maybe only 2 or 3 teams will be out of it by Christmas. Wings, Habs, Sens.
Separate names with a comma.
