Russia might be 3 atm, but Finland will soon edge them and Finnish players are better 2 way players than Russians its arguable that 50 point Fin on average is as valuable hockey player as 80 point Russian because team/defensive game..

Russia hasnt had any succees in hockey for last 20 years at men's hockey best on best level tournaments since fall of soviet union Russia is 6th best national team after Can Swe Fin Usa Cze. Okay they are better now than Czechs who have greatly declined but they have had worse results. I dont think anythinks changed about that if now would be best on best tournament Russia would likely finnish 4-6 placement in standings medal would be surprise.

I personally think it's the Americans. Russian's have more "pure skilled" players true, but the Americans have some insane fire power up front if you ask me.

Russia clearly then Finland for me. Top two lines of Finland and US are pretty close, but Finland's bottom two lines are far superior defensively to the US's without lacking offensive punch themselves. If you're just asking which lineup has more offensive firepower, then by all means, US over Finland.

Have to go with Russia first with the US very close, and for the first time in forever I think I would take Finland's forward group over Sweden's.
