Tavares is great but he doesn't adequately replace JVR, Bozak, 27 goal Marleau, Komarov.

D-corps with Hainsey, Gards and Polak was better than what we have now, no matter what excel says.

Our D-core is much better than previous years. IMO, this D-core is better than any of the D-cores we've had in the past 10 years. Our forwards aren't providing offense like they have in previous years. That's a huge issue right now.

We've scored 2 goals, 1 goal, 1 goal in the past 3 games. That's garbage for a team that has this much offensive talent. We're shooting at an unlucky on-ice sh% right now, even lower with Keefe. This will go up soon to the league-mean, as it always does. We have a stretch of 10+ easy games coming up after the St.Louis game, so I'm ready for this team to go on a hot-streak.

The only player I miss is Kadri, but the Barrie/Kerfoot deal makes it fine. Gardiner was one of my favourites but his back-injury has really hurt his play.
