The easy answer to who gets waived is Tim Schaller, he’s been a huge let down. Leivo has been great since his arrival and Motte is an excellent role player. Granlund is below average in all aspects, but isn’t a horrible player, he would be a good 4th liner and would make an ideal 13th forward with his versatility. Problem is Green uses Granlund way more than he should.
On defence; Pouliot, Gubdranson and Del Zotto are horrible. Pouliot or Del Zotto should be waived; Biega, Sautner and Brisebois are better options. I don’t expect any changes on the backend unfortunately.
Most likely to get traded is Baertschi or Goldobin, both are similar players (soft & skilled) Baertschi is a bit more polished and Goldobin is raw, but Goldy is younger with more upside. Baertschi is slightly faster but plays more on the perimeter whereas Goldobin is dangerous in traffic with his agility and stick handling.
