Habs fan here. We're in desperate need of adding some good all-around D-men to our prospect pool. A guy who can log a lot of minutes and do a little bit of everything, sort of like a Dan Hamhuis or an Andrei Meszaros.

Who fits this profile that may be available at 17 where we pick, or even someone that may slip out of the first round because they don't have any "obvious" strengths?

Tough to project such younger players to fit rolls of existing players but D-men that might be available around that point in the draft, especially when talking about all around D-men, some are good offensively and can become all around some can't.

    Jonas Brodin
    Joe Morrow
    David Musil
    Scott Myfield
    Oscar Klefbom

I think that best describes Mayfield.

He won't have any offensive touch in the nhl

Morrow fits the bill the most but Klefblom and Musil are good options too
