Yes, did the same thing a for our defense, and I want to know what you guys think our offense will be capable of this year. In regards to our lineup:

Gaudreau-Monahan-Lindholm
Tkachuk-Backlund-Neal
Bennett-Ryan-Frolik
Mangiapane-Jankowski-Czarnik

I have the team ranked 11-15th btw.

11-15 seems fair. Too many question marks to rank higher but too much talent to rank lower

15-20. They have no real legitimate elite talent up front.

middle of the pack right now. very top heavy with their 1st line. their 2nd line is pretty good with Backlund and Matt Tkachuk. Their bottom 6 very bad from an offensive standpoint.

rely on their defense to score. lets see how Hamilton and Hanafin swap leaves them and maybe Elias Lindholm can be a change of scenery guy who goes from middle6 to top6 or maybe even top line.

Other than Gaudreau, there isnt much elite on that offense. I love Monahan and Backlund but the Flames are weak down the middle. They have two great 2C's, but lack a top centre. They will be in the top of the bottom half of teams in terms of offense this season. Probably 17-19th I'd guess.

Monahan is a #1C...

Third worse shooting percentage last year. Bunch of good additions in the summer. A move towards the average plus the extra hands in the top 9, I think they’ll surprise teams.

Maybe a fringe one. At best he is a 1B centreman. I see him suited as a really good 2C on most contending teams.

Guy was on pace for 70+ points and 40 goals until his body fell apart, not sure what 2C is doing that. Just curious.

Always love when people try and use pace as an argument for a player. When he actually hits that statline, let me know.

Voted 16-20.

Below average 1c, and lacking after their 3 big pieces. Not terrible at all, but not great.

I voted 26-31. Their offense is basically Johnny Hockey. They will go as far as he takes them. Hamilton for Hanifin is a huge loss again for offense.

Between this and your massive Calgary-bashing thread, it is entirely appropriate that you are missing the fact that neither of Hamilton or Hanifin are playing in Calgary's offense.

This is about the front 12. I'd say open your eyes but you need to take a sniff to find where your head is at.

Hamilton was a big piece in getting the puck to the forwards. Losing his offense will hurt the production of the front 12.

Guess what happens to the goals for category when the power play isn’t one of the worst and when they don’t go for a 2/50 stretch?

No more Brouwer on the PP. Hamilton will be replaced with Brodie.

I'd say 11-15 if our forwards produce at their average rates. Could be even higher if Neal and Lindholm find instant chemistry in the top 6 with the likes of Tkachuk/Gaudreau/Monahan.

11-15. They need to show the rest of the league that the top line can't be the only ones putting up points consistently. Lots of teams knew that they just had to shut down Gaudreau, Monahan and Tkachuk to have no goals on the board.

In order to get on the top 10 you need secondary scoring. Hopefully, this is the year where we put everything together. Treliving has FINALLY addressed the terrible forward depth that we had.
