Vancouver Island
Tomorrow, there is a good possibility that he joins Orr, Gretzky, Lemieux, and McDavid as one of only 5 players to reach 100 assists in a single season. He is also primed to win his 2nd Art Ross with a Point Total only surpassed by 8 other players in NHL History.

Add that with his 2 Stanley Cups, and where do you think he ranks all time?

This list is always a great point of reference:

It's not about taking every single ranking as an absolute certainty - but it gives you an idea of the type of players and approx what range they should be in.

I think that Malkin/Forsberg are great comparables for Kucherov. And in 2019, they slotted 51 & 52. Malkin is probably a bit higher today. I'm of the opinion that Kucherov is having a better career than both of them - the question is has he already surpassed them, or is extra longevity needed? I'd say he's ahead, so I voted 41-50

The thing with Kucherov is - if he keeps adding seasons like this one, or adding 30+ point playoff runs, he will rise in huge leaps and bounds. He's a bit unpredictable. Curious to see where he ends up.

Between 50 and 60.

130 years of hockey is a really long time.

I have Malkin just outside the top 50 and Kucherov just behind him.

I expect he will continue to rise and end up in the 30-40 range.
Maybe hard to say if he end up cracking the tip 30-40 mark as it gets harder the higher up the ladder he goes.

Without looking very closely at it he is somewhere in the top 80 right now.
