NHL.com will probably have a stream that you can watch and rewind, so you can watch it from the beginning whenever you feel like it. You'll just have to have blinders on while you are trying to navigate the feed.

-go to wikipedia's 2011 draft page.
-scroll down an inch at a time until you see who got picked first.
-take a few sips of beer, scroll down another inch. repeat 29 more times.

same excitement as watching on tv.

i keep thinking "this year it'll be different" and instead of bettman, daly it'll be something like Richard Branson or Vince McMahon would do, maybe some Molson-bunnies, Bud-girls, explosions, nudity, violence, coarse language.

Nothing could be a more boring production value than the draft lottery and the entry draft has so much dead time we could use some TV value.

I like the miking of a few GMs, always fun, especially if it's Burke.

This year, maybe Charles Wang's kid will ask very direct questions to Kevin Connolly about Sasha Grey on the Entourage set - now that's TV!
