WC: When you look at the facts Canada's recent record at the World's isn't that bad

I realize it's easy for people who hate Canada to say they lost the three years in the Quater Finals at the World Hockey Championships, however it's not really that bad when you go back to 2003.

2003: Gold

2004: Gold

2005: Silver

2006: 4th

2007: Gold

2008: Silver

2009: Silver

Not counting 2010, 2011 & 2012 they were able to medal in 6/7 tournaments prior to 2010 and on two occasions they could have easily won Gold three straight years.

From what I read in these forums even Canadien cats and dogs could easily beat any European team. So no, those results are fail upon fail.

You're right. For example CZE also lost all QF's in 2007, 2008 2009 and that's the country with the best medal record over the past 20 years. So no big deal.

Not counting 2010, 2011 & 2012 they were able to medal in 6/7 tournaments prior to 2010 and on two occasions they could have easily won Gold three straight years.

So they were not able to win anything in the last three = recent tournaments.
