These Olympic jerseys are god awful
Does it really matter? It's only a few games over a two week period.
For someone who would like to purchase a national team jersey...it might matter a lot.
No way: Everyone wants to wear butt ugly jerseys.
I want to buy a Team USA jersey...but I'll be damned if I'm going to wear that monstrosity. They're all awful, aside from Sweden...which still looks weird without the sleeve stripe.
Nike needs to stop. Just...stop.
I could be wrong on this, but I believe Nike have agreements with the individual associations rather than with the IIHF itself.
You are wrong, the Finnish Hockey Federation for example, has a deal with Reebok and they wear Nike-made jerseys only at IIHF events. Nike is IIHF's official jersey supplier.
I think Slovakia's jerseys are great. They pretty much failed with all the other jerseys though.
I guess. But look at it this way, if your country's jersey is ugly, you'll be less likely to want it and will save a pile of money.
If you buy an ugly jersey anyway, that's your own fault.
