Mine, Stamkos sucks and would be one of worst 1st overall picks in history. Woosh. Hilariously way off base.

Honorable mention, Karlsson was gonna win 5 Norris trophies and be best ever D hahaha. Also woosh. Not as bad as Stamkos though.

What about boys and girls? What you got to look back at and laugh about?

My infamous: Alex Galchenyuk is the next Tyler Seguin and will have a massive breakout once he gets out of Montreal because they were holding him back.

Also my friends will never let me down for saying: "The Canucks are going to sweep the Bruins, Daniel Sedin is the best player in the league, and there is two of him".

I think I also might have placed a decently sized prop bet for Carter Hart to win the Vezina this year...

I thought Mittlestadt would have a better rookie year than Petterson, who I thought would struggle to adapt to small ice right away.

At least he's finally starting to play well.

I thought Elias Pettersson had high end upside, but I never thought hed be so good, so quick. (Preferred mittlestatd to him)

I thought Quinn Hughes would be a 40-50 pts guy for a few years before peaking in the high 60s.

Puljujarvi over laine, but at least now it looks a bit better lol.

    Thats pretty much it.

Galchenyuk had many issues off ice that, im pretty sure, stemmed from the on ice stuff... He had the talent to be a 30 30 guy year in and out. Sux, development is important.

I remember stating that Puljujarvi would end up having a better career than Laine.

It seemed ludicrous for a while. Maybe next year it can be reclassified as a hot take. And I'm rooting for Jesse to make it beyond a hot take.

I thought MacKinnon was a draft dissapointment in January 2017. That looks like an awful take now.

I also thought Drouin would be a perennial 90 point winger.

I thought Mike Gillis trading Cory Schneider for the 9th pick and then passing on Nichushkin to select Bo Horvat with that pick were 2 absolutely terrible moves. Turned out to be a good trade and an even better draft pick.

I thought Draisaitl wouldn't be able to fix his skating after watching him in Prince Albert/Kelowna. Woosh

I called Gritty a monumental failure the first time I saw him. Shows what I know.

haha, going way back I was convinced Vadim sharafyanov was going to be better than Patrik Elias because of course he was the first round pick.

I thought Gilbert Brule would be a consistent 25 goal scorer. More recently I thought Quinn Hughes would struggle and take a long time to produce at the nhl level.

Steve Mason would be Canada’s starting goalie in all international tournaments for a decade and sure fire HOFer

Rangers fans wanted to make a huge trade offer for Nathan MacKinnon before he broke out and I called him a "glorified 55-point player."

In retrospect, said trade probably would have been a solid one.

Peter Mueller. It’s a while ago now, but I wouldn’t bet the farm he was gonna be a big time NHL star.

    Edit- would’ve

To be fair, we ruined him for good before trading him.

I mean, yeah, you're not wrong.

In my defense, the Rangers board has absolutely no patience with any of our players but they'll wait until other teams' players are 29 before they write them off.

We're still waiting for Chris Stewart and Julius Honka to come to the Rangers and have that huge breakout.
