Delisle played out the end of last season with a WCHL team called the San Diego Gulls. He put up 6 points in 6 games and then had a good playoff run.

He had a tryout with the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks of the AHL this past off season but failed to earn an AHL contract so he's back playing with the Gulls again this season, however now the Gulls are a part of the ECHL thanks to the merger of the two leagues.

Apprently he and Billy Tibbets are ready to tear it up!...lol

Hopefully Delisle can eventually work his way to the AHL and at least play out a career there, or play well enough there that someone in Europe will give him a shot. However I think it's reasonably safe to say his NHL chances are all but zero right now.

To add some stuff, Delisle and the LEafs were unable to reach a contract agreement last year before the draft, for the most part because of Delisle demanding 1st round money. He then opted to re-enter the draft, hoping to get a higher position and more money. However this turned out to be a miscalculation, as he went undrafted. He returned to the 67s as an overager, but was sent away from the team because of showing a lack of interest. Rest of the story is covered by Brock's post.

Yep. Delisle made the mistake so many junior players make in trying to demand a raise before they even have a contract. I'm surprised nobody took a chance on Delisle earlier because he has major talent, or at least enough to play in the AHL, but his effort has always been a problem. One of the few players Brian Kilrea has failed to develop into an all-round player.
