@TaLoN , you're absolutely killing me!!! I can't stop drooling and it's too early in the morning for that. Looking through this thread has me flashing back to when I was a kid and the Sears catalogue would come and I'd dream of everything I'd hope to get for Christmas... I tell ya, you're killing me!!! Keep it up.

And I meant to ask if you have any personal favorites from all of your sampling?
My personal favorite... the one I keep going back to most often? Glenfiddich Solera 15.

If I could only choose 1 scotch to have in my cupboard the rest of my life... that's the one I'd choose.

That said, I would not be happy being only able to have one, but at least I'd have the one I go to most often... and at $56 it's pretty affordable too.

This is my brother in laws go to. It's delicious.

Found Buffalo Trace in stock yesterday bought 2 bottles probably should have bought more. So I'll be drinking that tonight and last night.

One of the best times of the year purely to get this release.

Right when I saw you posted in here I almost knew it was going to be this

Saw it was delivered to my MGM on twitter but not sure if there'd be any left...although they don't seem to be as popular as some of the Junkyard/Drekker stuff which is just fine with me. Maybe I'll try to take a look today and pick it up. I got the UA watermelon/lime gose a couple weeks ago and liked it a lot. They do really good work.

I was in Total Wine getting a new bottle of Glenfiddich 15 when I noticed it. It's been recommended to me before, but I haven't seen it available until today.

This is a very interesting one. It has moderate peat and smoke flavor, yet it's not dominated by it at all. Good spice initially, transitions to a bit more toffee flavor in the finish.

Find it's best with 3 splashes of water and 1 cube of ice.

More research into this, apparently the 12yr is an annual batch release, and each batch ends up with not only a unique abv%, but also the flavor profile changes a bit each year as well. My bottle listing as 56.1%, means this is batch #21 of Springbank 12yro scotch.

Strange that they don't list the batch number on the box or bottle. You have to look it up by the abv%.
