OT: Whatcha Drinkin' II: Another Round!

Good idea! Currently drinking a sidecar. Had a couple homebrews during the game- a Smoked Porter and a lousy but drinkable pumpkin beer that I'm trying to get rid of. By Saturday though, I should have a Red Ale just barely ready (currently carbing up in the bottles) that I have dubbed "Bunch of Jerks Hurricane Red". Tasted promising at bottling, so here's hoping it's not an insult to our wonderful jerks.

I’m drinking Evan Williams Single Barrel 2004 tonight. Been saving a couple bottles because it’s one of my favorite vintages.

This guy knows how to drink properly.

Oh I fished the crayons out and fermented it, but it just highlighted that things were getting difficult. Really hard to commit to a 7-8 hr brew day and ask my wife to watch the (then) 1 yr old and 4 yr old. I’ll be back. It’s one of my favorite hobbies.

I know Toronto is a big city and particularly visible in the hockey world, but it's still strange seeing random photos of my neighborhood pop up on sites like this. that's like a 5 minute walk from where I'm typing this right now.

I heard all of the Coronas were being kept in China for now. Probably easier to get Dos Equis until they are not so thirsty.

Just opened a Velkopopovický Kozel.

Homebrewed oatmeal/irish stout. I roasted the oats first, really adds a lot more flavor that way. A really nice 4.2% session beer.

Homebrewing ain't hard once you get the hang of it. And you can make 5 gallons (or 60 liters if you're a commie) all in one go. Per pint, it's not that much work.

Far from my favorite (that'd be Pilsner Urquell), but my innate reaction is still national pride.

Us commies usually go straight to hard liquor. We transform fruits into spirits. And it's focken' brilliant.
