Offence is based on great line combinations and I tried the same thing with defence but had to have Lindholm there. This might not be the best lineup possible, but I like that the lines have proven their effectiveness and they are iconic for team's history, except that second pairing. I could do a lineup with players like Kurri, Oates and Fedorov, who had better primes than most players on my lineup now but I think it is somewhat dull to use players who didn't play significant time or didn't play any of their prime years in Anaheim.

If you’re looking at one year peaks and taking into account the chemistry he had with Visnovsky it’s pretty justifiable. 2010-11 Lydman was an absolute beast.

Like I said, I wanted to go with line combinations that existed as much as possible. Also, I think that lineup could use Lydman's defensive skill set more than Fowler's puck moving. I mean there are already Niedermayer and Visnovsky for that.

That third line was very good. Imagine this bottom six in their primes. Would be near impossible to score against.
