Let’s see Brayden Schenn got two mid-late first rounders in different years and a dump.
So it would have to be player(s) that are way better then Schenn to get the 3rd and 5th pick in the 2020 1st round.

The best player on your team basically maybe more.

I'd do marner + 15th overall + Liljegren if the leafs needed the cap and there was no other way.

No chance Ottawa takes Marner. Have you seen the signing bonus money he’s going to make? Ottawa doesn’t do that. No way can it work.

Sam Girard, Avs first this year, maybe a B prospect(not Newhook or Byram - need Byram to replace Girard asap).

You would probably be crazy to trade those picks away, unless the offer is insane.
Looks like the Sens have RFA's and some UFA's to sign over the next 2 years and the Sens ownership has a reputation of being frugal.
With those 2 picks you have a very high chance of getting 2 first line or top 6 players. At least one might be able to step into a starting role as soon as next season. Also high end talent that has cost control for cap space that would make Sens ownership happy.
