What was the worst jersey in modern NHL history?

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I actually really hate Vegas' grey jersey especially. The logo, the colours, the pattern... It looks like a cheap "Create-A-Team" generic jersey template you'd have on the NHL video game..

hwl
Must agree.

Pretty much everything about Vegas - team name - logo - colors...All crap.

well, many candidates, but if I take only recent years...
I hated the fact that Ottawa and Pittsburgh used the same template, only different colors.... especially for team like Pens with all those starpower it was a bit weird... glad they swittched to the retros they wear now... Ottawa needs a change too
..and also Calgary can do much better than now

Yall can talk smack about my beloved Preds mustard 3rd ( yes I still wear it to games), but this thread proves that just about every franchise in this league has had one way worse.

That Blues, Kings, Ducks, and omg that Toronto stripe thing? :help:

The navy/copper ones actually didn’t look too bad in person. Got one in my closet. The whites, on the other hand, were the worst jerseys in team history.

Anyone wearing the white ones out in public was only a nightcap away from looking like Ebeneezer Scrooge.
They are awful

The Buffaslug Jerseys. Ugly jersey, beyond horrendous logo. We thought they were a prank when they were unveiled. And I still think someone lost a bet somewhere along the line with these "classics"....

The subject of constant ridicule. And to be honest, they deserved the scorn they received.

I can't believe it took 3 pages to see Buffaslug. Can we get a shop of Slug on a certain politician?? That would be funny

Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, by Atlanta was terrible. Including the team name, logos (accents too), colors, and jersey designs (not even showing the light blue **** here).

Nothing about these jerseys said "hockey."

Those white Atlanta ones are not bad at all

The away is not that bad either, they just should have kept the primary logo on the front.

Depending on one's taste, the original California Seals jersey was questionable too. Later versions were generally panned also.

Nah, that’s a masterpiece.

As are these:

Except for the white skates which are hideous

Not as great, but nowhere near the worst and you can see the evolution 15 years later to the Sharks:

Unless you're the Rangers (an O6) words should not be permitted as logos on a jersey. Even in New York's case, the statue of liberty logo was epic and could easily be the primary logo to the approval of many.

The Canadiens barber pole jersey is the best post-1967 NHL jersey ever, and it's not remotely close.
