His build in recent years effected his skating, which in turn effected his defensive ability. Now that he's lighter, he's regained the ability to recover. People will point to de Haan and now Pesce, but he's passed the eye test for me individually.
What will be intereating to see is if he ever puts it all together. Can he provide 11/12-13/14+18/19 defense with 14/15-16/17 offense?
