Such a dome, and line changes only on whistles.

Would never happen ... no advertising space on the end boards.

Id like to see divisions reshuffled every year. Either randomly or based on ranking

If based on ranking - the draft changes completely. Its a complete lottery with all teams eligible.

Teams who finished 32-25 are in 1 divison.

24-17 in another division. And so on.

It would make for new and different rivalries each year and allow for bottom teams to qualify for playoffs more often.

And what about travel expenses and time zone differences? Do those factor in at all?

-Dump the stupid 3 on 3 crap.

-No loser point in overtime.

-Get rid of the shootout..... make it 4 on 4 until decided.

-FIRE BETTMAN

-Team that finishes last in regular season standings gets extra 5 mil to their cap for following season, (only)

-Referee review system that regularly reviews all refs calls and actions in games and issues monthly reports detailing all bad and wrong calls.

- a second goal crease line painted 5 feet out from the current one. If a goalie crosses out of the second line, they are fair game for contact

This one is already true. You don't get a loser point in overtime. You get a point for being tied at the end of regulation!!!!!!!!!

Call it what you want, they should get rid of it.

Why??? The owners agreed that they liked the shared points after ties. Then the league got push back from fans about games ending in ties, so they decided to go to overtime (and then shootouts). Thus giving an extra point to the winning team. I don't see why they should get rid of points earned for a tie.

No Salary cap
No boring, generic interviews
More diversity in the league. Would help to grow the game.
4 on 4 in OT in playoffs. 3 on 3 after Double playoff OT.

Actually. 4 on 4 in general.

There are 17 different nationalities represented in the NHL today. It's extremely diverse

The NBA has players from 42 different countries... So 17 doesn't seem to be much. The other guy had a valid point.

Who is to judge what enough is. Or that a problem even exists?(it doesn't) or if we should be even counting (we shouldn't) the only thing we care about is the product on the ice and that it's of good quality.

Hockey and basketball are apples and oranges. Can't compare

In this case, don't say:

The point is diversity is nonsense. There are things that are diverse and wonderful. There are things that are not diverse, and also wonderful. Making something more diverse doesn't necessarily make it better.

You don't think diversity helps grow the game? Can you imagine if the sport became popular in China like Baseball is in Japan, you don't think it would help it grow?

Why would the NBA, FIFA and Bettman waste their time trying to penetrate the Chinese market if that wasn't the case? lol. Why not follow your logic and go back to the times when the NHL was strictly North American players.

More diversity in the league. Would help to grow the game.
This is a valid point. More diversity = more people playing. More people playing = bigger talent pool. Not to mention more money being spent and invested in the sport. Which all leads to more entertainment for us fans.
