MacT was a bad GM.

The guy who gave Nikitin a 2x4.5m deal should not of been kept as the GM.

And which perfect GM has not dished out bad contracts? The team would have been in better shape had we kept MacT then fire him this year.

That roster that made the playoffs, many of the players were MacT's guys. This gm who dished out a bad contract for Nikitin is also the same guy who picked up Pouliot who helped with the PK and drafted steals like Slepyshev. The PK has been atrocious since the departure of Pouliot. People here are too bias because MacT is seen as an old boys club.

MacT would be considered and average gm which is sufficent for the first few years with McDavid. Instead we had a chump dumping Hall and gifting Lucic. None of those two transactions would happen because MacT would essentially do squat which is better than actually doing something.

Based on skill and playmaking ability, Bouchard makes the team. There is nobody on the blueline that can do what he does. He also has a booming slapshot. Think about this for a sec. Is Bouchard the better player now or Benning? Why is it Benning would get a spot with all his suckage and Bouchard gets dumped to the minors. And I don't see how Caleb Jones and Bear are better than Bouchard at this point. Why is it we should put two hasbeens and borderline players in the NHL while Bouchard gets tossed into the minors.

Because he’s here to replace Larsson not Benning Playing 3rd pair with Russell versus 1st pair 20-25 minutes a game in Bakersfield for at least half a season is wiser

Yes I can. How many picks after the 2nd round actually panned out to do something for us since Horcoff and Pisani? You will need to go all the way back to players from the 80s.

He was a mediocre hockey player how didn't do alot at the NHL level.
