For players with more than 100 games, what percent of players win a Lord Stanley?

Is the percent much different for players who have ever scored more than 30 goals ?

What player attributes predict stanley cup success?

Stanley Cup by the numbers

1,331 -- Players who have won the Stanley Cup. Of those players, 767 have won it once and 564 have won it twice or more. 1926-27

40622 player*seasons since 1926-27 (41071 since 1917-1918 )

http://www.nhl.com/stats/player?reportType=season&seasonFrom=19261927&seasonTo=20182019&gameType=2&filter=gamesPlayed,gte,1&sort=points,goals,assists

http://www.nhl.com/stats/player?agg...r=gamesPlayed,gte,1&sort=points,goals,assists (6961)

It is getting harder to win the Stanley cup now as there was only 6 teams, now there is 31.

1331/40,622 = 3.2%.

1331/6961= 19.12%

About 20 percent.

1331 players have won the Cup. About 6500 players have played in the league.
Fixed it.
My 40,000 wasn't players it was players x seasons. (oops).

6961 have played in the league while the cup existed.

The best predictor must be years played in the NHL. :naughty:

I wonder what the percentages would be per expansion era.

Only according to you so far
Huh? A lot of people use not winning a cup as a negative against a players abilities, happens regularly, I am not one of those people. If you don’t know what I mean see any conversation about the legacy of Joe Thornton or Daniel and Henrik Sedin.
