You guys are too narrow minded. If we lost Smith or Dzingel or cleasson with limited viewing in nhl and only 1 it would be a lot less of a loss.

I like Pageau but even protecting him after with a side deal probably wouldn't have been the rumored 2018 1st round pick that it was for Methot.

It would have been more. Pageau has WAY more asset value than Methot. Hence why the Sens did the smart thing and protected 7-3-1 instead of 4-4-1.
