Is he an All Star Caliber Player? How good can he be? Or is he another over hyped prospect in the Avs system much like Nedorost has seemed to be? What NHLer would you compare him to? He is off to a slow start this season after tearing up the WHL last season before getting hurt last season. Lemme know your thoughts. How does he compare to other top prospects such as Fritsche, Carter, Perry, Brown, Bernier, Pouliot, Upshall and the like?

Somewhere dark...?
the news on him was very good from the avs training camp from what i could read... they seem to think that he's got enough to make the NHL as early as next season (if there isn't a lockout).

same situation as sjostrom coming over, greatly skilled skating offensive player, has to adjust to the north american grinding game, he has to, he's far far too weak right now physically and in the grit department..

like sjostrom, this second year will really develop him as a player all around, and like we saw with sjostrom in these past world juniors, two years in the chl does so much to improve your overall package. sjostrom looked like an nhler in the world juniors imo, and after another year we'll get a much better read on johansson
