What is going on with Rasmus Dahlin?

He's still in his ELC right? So he had a really good rookie season as an 18 year old and has struggled for a season and a bit?

You make it sound like he's been sucking hard for years here.

Again, really good season by points, which isn't all that impressive. He still wasn't a good play driver.

He’s fighting it out with Huggy Bear to get that green jacket.
You are such a tool. At least Quinn isn't a fragile ballerina like Cale and I suggest actually watching some Nucks games especially earlier in the season when the team had some truly laughable games.
I'm not gonna say Quinn is Hedman out there but the amount of goals you would say " ya that's on Quinn is nowhere near what his plus\minus (useless stat would indicate) You and a few other Avs fans seem so worried about what Quinn does which I guess makes sense since your boy spends more time injured than not.

I'd like to live in your strange world where Dahlin isn't a playdriver yet dominates in open ice which is why he is great at commanding the point on the PP unit(the only offense on the Sabres worth talking about). He earned a lot of those points because he transitions the puck down the ice so well and makes breakout passes with ease not being great defensively doesn't take away the fact that he's definitely one of the better puck distributors in the league. If the top Sabres woke up and started to give a damn he would have so many more assists except they can't even score if the net is empty. He was never expected to score goals by himself i'm not sure why everyone expects him to do so often.

I'm looking at the Buffalo Sabres stats page and sorting the +/- category by minutes played shows a picture that is not pretty. Dahlin is not the only one in minus double digits. Also, the team has a 6-12-3 record. So, my conclusion is that the Sabres are just not a very good team. Now obviously, if Dahlin was playing like a Norris contender, it would help the Sabres a lot. Maybe they would be 8-10-3?

I think a bigger problem than Dahlin is that they are spending like $15million on Okposo and Skinner who have zero goals and 2 assists between them?

Enjoy the PP specialist/4th forward.

This is the real reason

Krueger needs to go. Yesterday,

He has all his offense starting from the backend where they take low percentage wrist shots hoping for a tip or rebound. Colin Miller has been unbearable this season hitting shinpads.

He was never fast. We expected his speed to improve as his leg strength increased. Still waiting.

Hedman took like 3-4 seasons to start hitting his stride and he really didn't become elite till like 6 seasons

What happened to him? Wasn’t he supposed to be the next Lidas, not the new Risto. Attitude? Lack of skill, potential still not in use?

Buffalo destroys players, especially Dmen. Who has his mentor been? Risto? Give me a break. Buffalo is at a breaking point. They have had all sorts of talent go there, and they almost all underperform. They need to get a legit coach as a start, though i think the problems there run much deeper.

Good young player on a badly coached and badly managed team. I would ignore numbers and the eye test this year. Having said that, I hope he gets traded out of that situation for his own sake.

He’s going to be a perennial 50-60 point player. But he needs a good coach to develop his D side. He’s 20.

The Sabres happened to him. It's where players go to die. I can't believe we were able to ruin a cant miss prospect like Dahlin. I remember being so excited on lottery day.

He needs to go to a team with an established D core that can help mold him. He has all the talent to be a great player but being in Buffalo will not doing anything for his development.
