What if too many players from a single team opt out of RTP?

If a team doesn't have enough players to put in uniform due to too many of them opting out, does that team lose the play-ins by forfeit? Do they play with a smaller bench like in beer league?

It's all hypothetical, of course.

I'm sure the team would know ahead of time. I'm sure most players who are considering opt-ing out have spoken to management/teammates about possibility.

And so - you get AHL players.

If one team is hit with that many opt outs, the rest of them will be as well. Every group dynamic has an inflection point.

Maybe not players themselves opting out, but I think what would make a team opt out would be if there was a fair number who tested positive. FC Dallas from MLS and the Orlando Pride of the NWSL dropped out of their respective tournament because they had too many cases.
