Only way Rossi is a Senator is if the San Jose pick slips to 6. Byfield, Stutzle, Drysdale and or Raymond will be selected at that point.

As a sens fan thats the dream for me. It would be nice to get Laf but I am just hoping for 2 top 4 picks. Believe there is a drop off after pics 4 and 5. I dont think there is any chance they pass on Stutzle or Byfield if they have a chance at either with picks 3 to 5. The need a C badly.

If they come out of the draft with any combination of Stutzle/Byfield and one of Raymond or Drysdale ill be extatic.

Those picks are too valuable to say you need get a defenceman and forward.

You take the best player available. If it happens to be two forwards, so be it. Then you load up on defenceman later in the draft.

Saw Rossi live this year for the 67's. That kid is absolutely dominant. I'm sure they will give him a good, long look.

I know Drysdale would be great for their young D corps, but imagine getting Byfield and Rossi in one swoop like that? To add to a young group like Thachuk, Formenton, White, Batherson and Brown. It would certainly turn their non existant offense into a force in the next 3 years. And even without Drysdale, they still got Chabot, Bernard Docker and Branstrom. That's still a rock solid young D corps.
