just a quick question:
say the entire 2004-2005 goes bust due to the lockout, and it finally gets settled in the spring, so the 2005 draft goes as planned. who gets the first overall pick. obviously Sydney Crosby will go first and the NHL would have to find a fair way of deciding who gets the #1 pick. Common sense might say that the worst team in 2003 would still be the worst in 2004, and therefore logic would probably have Ovechkin and Crosby both on the same team, that'd be very dangerous for the other 29 teams.
How do you guys think the NHL would deal with this very possible dilemma.
