What if Bob did make a couple trades for this year

Pietrangelo is gonna get something between the Subban deal and the Doughty deal. I don't think this is a realistic option for us given the dead salary next season from Perry's buyout and the fact that we would need to sign/re-sign 8-10 other players to fill out the roster including a few notable RFAs who need new deals. We would have to either spend to the cap (and likely over the cap with Kesler LTIR relief) or trade Henrique. Neither of those things strike me as moves Bob would make in order to fit in a contract of that size and risk. Throw in expansion draft ramifications from adding another core player, and the fact the his time table for competing (and taking risks) seems to be after this upcoming expansion draft, and it just doesn't seem plausible.

I'd love to have him but it's a pipe dream.
