What went wrong with the Razorbacks at the College World Series? They were one out from winning the championship. Then one missed foul ball, and the whole thing went Oregon State's way. (BTW, congratulations to the Beavers for winning the CWS in Omaha.) I didn't see the event live, but I'm still shocked by the collapse. Does anybody have any answers?

They choked. You pretty much just described how they did it. That's about it. It doesn't help the CWS championship is only best of 3. And it's not like Oregon State is a scrub team. They were the higher seeded team loaded with talent.

The whole game is on Youtube, I fast-forwarded to where it all went wrong. How all three of them missed a lazy popup in foul territory, with a championship on the line, I'll never know. The batter had to be feeling pretty pumped after that, too....I think it was 1-2 pitches later he had the game-tying hit.
