WC: What Euro-league players consistently outperform NHL'ers?

Kenny Jönsson was a truly great defender who played better than most against the best, wish we could have another one like him in Swedish hockey soon...

In general, if you outperform NHL players in WHC and are based in Europe, you will be in the NHL next year. Peter Forsberg had some great showings before he went over to Quebec...

I guess there are some Russian players who could go on this list too, NHL doesnt have many Russians since KHL got traction.

Kenny Jönsson outperformed Lidström in the 2006 olympics and got the best defenceman award. He played in Allsvenskan (SEL-2) during that time. Him and his brother Jörgen were always two of our best players, even in the olympics.

Ward was not able to do it with the very best canadian roster. Yes, I claim he constantly outperformed many of his NHL counterparts on WC.
