Lets say 3-5 years down the road with only the players and prospects we current have at your disposal what would your lineup look like?

Mine would be...

Pacioretty-Galchenyuk-Collberg
McCarron-Eller-Gallagher
JDLR-Leblanc-kristo
Crisp-gregoire-white

Tinordi-Subban
Beaulieu-Emelin
Diaz-Nygren

Price
Fucale

A lot of this is still debatable and subject to change... But here are my explanations hopefully all the top 6 wingers will be interchangeable but I see Collberg as a top 6 NHL sniper, McCarron as a top 6 power forward. I think Leblanc will bounce back and make a great third line with kristo and De La Rose. The 4th line is good also, I actually liked the Crisp pick and I'm a huge white fan while Gregoire has everything need to be a successful bottom line pivot

The defense is where I would add I think, I see tinordi and beaulieu as great top 4 guys but we are missing a real top pairing guy to play with PK I still really like the D but next year I'd invest in acquiring a young top pairing physical Dman either through the draft or trade.

Goalies is pretty self explanatory I need some convincing by Fucale but I think he could be a solid NHL goalie.

Your turn what does your lineup look like and why?

Lehkonen - Galchenyuk - Collberg
McCarron - Eller - Gallagher
Bozon - De La Rose - Hudon
Crisp - Vail - Andrighetto

I really love how the Habs tried diversifying their forward prospect pool this draft, its amazing how we actually have so many different types of players with potential.

Tinordi - Subban
Beaulieu - Emelin
Nygren - Dietz
Didier

Fucale

Looks pretty damn good to me. I've even managed to leave out young guys such as: Patches, Kristo, Pateryn, Bennett, Leblanc etc. This just means our prospect pool has had such an overhaul the last 2 drafts...and in 3-4 years when these guys will start seeing the NHL we'll have a whole other group of prospects waiting! :handclap:

In Bergy we trust.

Max Pacioretty-Vincent Lecavalier-Andrei Kostitsyn
Guillaume Latendresse-Louis Leblanc-Mike Cammalleri
Joonas Nattinen-Some guy who will wear number 20-Alexander Avtsin
Travis Moen-Maxime Lapierre-Steve Quailer

Jack Johnson-PK Subban
Andrei Markov-Yannick Webber
Josh Gorges-Ryan O'byrne/Carle/Bennet/Fischer

Carey Price
Tim Thomas

If all goes nicely (Also, Cammy will have one year left but since you said so, I'll take him out)
Also, players bust, and we obviously sign FAs but w/e

Max Pacioretty-Louis Leblanc-Andrei Kostitsyn
Guillaume Latendresse-Ben Maxwell-Danny Kristo
Sergei Kostitsyn-Joonas Nattinen/Mikael Johansson-Aleksandr Avtsin
Max Lapierre with two of Stewart, Conboy, Qualier, Engqvist and Moen

Andrei Markov-PK Subban
Josh Gorges-Yannick Weber
Mathieu Carle-David Fischer

Price
Missiaen/Simila

I hope we can get Keith or Vlasic in there some how

Andrei Kostitsyn - Tomas Plekanec - Alex Kovalev
Chris Higgins - Saku Koivu - Alex Tanguay
Guillaume Latendresse - Maxim Lapierre - Tom Kostopoulos
Greg Stewart - Glen Metropolit - Georges Laraque

Andrei Markov - Mike Komisarek
Roman Hamrlik - Ryan O'Byrne

Carey Price
Jaroslav Halak

:habs

Kristo - LeBlanc - Cammalleri
Pacioretty - Maxwell - Kostitsyn
Latendresse - Lapierre - Avtsin
Moen - Chipchura - Conboy

Markov - Subban
Weber - Fisher
Gorges - O'Byrne

Price

Future Comparisons:
1.Kristo (Kessel)
2.LeBlanc (M.Richards)
3.Pacioretty (Booth)
4.Maxwell (Stoll)
5.Avtsin (Hanzal)
6.Conboy (Boogaard)
7.Subban (Green)
8.Weber (Streit)
9. Fisher (Lilja)

Danny Kristo - Ben Maxwell - Andrei Kostitsyn
Max Pacioretty - Louis Leblanc - Steve Quailer
Guillaume Latendresse - Maxim Lapierre - Sergei Kostitsyn
Andrew Conboy - Gabriel Dumont - Greg Stewart

Andrei Markov - PK Subban
Mathieu Carle - Ryan O'Byrne
Yannick Weber - David Fischer

Carey Price
Cedric Desjardins

Pacioretty, Leblanc, Avstyn
Latendresse, Lapierre, Kristo
Conboy, Chipchura, Stuart

Markov - Subban
UFA - Carle

And it goes on and on and on.

Hindsight is 20/20 but it shows how we constantly overhype recently drafted player (Avtisn, Conboy, Chipchura, Stewart, Carle, Fischer, Maxwell, Leblanc, Missiaen...)

Beaulieu IMO is going to be a top 4 d-man, plus in 3-5 years I would think Galchenyuk would the be #1 center of this team. Holland is never going to be a 4th line player, he plays a skill game. It's pretty much top 9 or bust for him.

Surely we'd be getting players from FA or Trade but this is strictly with what we got.
