I don't see what's changed about his situation. His contract isn't why a team didn't pick him up.

I read the Habs were interested and willing to sign him if had would agree to a buyout. So I say they sign him for cheap for one year.

Too many people voting emotionally. Just because you dislike him doesn’t mean he’s not going to get NHL contract offers. He got at least one for this season. Why wouldn’t he get more in the summer? Or do you believe Pat Brisson is a terrible agent and misread his market completely that he didn’t advise him to accept a contract from the one team that would sign him?

Flames have to go all in and it’s clear that they’re trying to contend next season by trying their hardest to win the last 3 games of the regular season. They’d probably give him a 6 x 6 year contract because he is exactly what they needed since they traded Hamilton and especially now with an aging Gio.

1 year, between 1.5-3 million.

Whether you like him (and his views) or not, the guy did score 50+ points last season and is still developing. He's too good of a player for someone not to give him a chance.
