:yo:
Always great seeing this album mentioned.

plus Def Leppard's debut was On Through The Night, not Hysteria. I remember getting that one on 8 track and noone else had heard of them and I would play it in the car and blow everyone away. Too bad they went more pop as they went along, I loved their first album

sorry to nitpick but none of these were first albums but 2 and 4 were great albums even if one of them had no bass on it.

The 3rd album is actually the best on his list (SATD)

A couple of great ones I had totally forgotten (my mind is like Swiss cheese nowadays):

Captain Beefheart - Safe As Milk
The Modern Lovers - The Modern Lovers

EDIT:
Dr. John - Gris-Gris

The Band would be in my top 10 (of all albums ever), but like already pointed out, it wasn't their debut. And wasn't Selling England By The Pound something like the fifth record by Genesis? From Genesis To Revelation was the debut.
Oh, for christsakes. My error on both counts. I don't know how I got Music from Big Pink wrong, as I know that album intimately. About Genesis' first album, no excuses there, just pure ignorance on my part.
