I was going to include Innervisions, but I wanted 10 different artists and The Talking Heads are one of best funky, rhythmic bands ever. Imho Aja is the best Steely Dan album.

Sam Cooke - Live at the Harlem Square Club, 1963
Radney Foster - Del Rio, TX 1959
Jimmy Buffett - Changes in Latitude, Changes in Attitude
Journey - Escape
Hootie & the Blowfish - Cracked Rear View
Metallica - Ride the Lightning
Pearl Jam - Ten
U2 - Joshua Tree
Social Distortion - Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell
Jerry Jeff Walker - Live at Gruene Hall

It's amazing how many of those could be different on any given day. The top three will always be there but after that it can go a million ways.

Soundgarden - Badmotorfinger
Yup.. I might have Badmotorfinger and Louder than Love, both in my top 10..
Appetite for Destruction would be in there, and definitely Siamese Dream (Smashing Pumpkins). Be hard for me narrow a list down to ten tho.

It's tough to limit it to ten, but without much thought:

Black Sabbath - "Paranoid"
Blaze Bayley - "Silicon Messiah"
Iron Maiden - "Powerslave"
Judas Priest - "Painkiller"
King Crimson - "Red"
Rage Against the Machine - "Rage Against the Machine"
Slayer - "Hell Awaits"
The Who - "Quadrophenia"
Wishbone Ash - "Argus"
Yes - "Fragile"

My top ten are all rock/metal, but there would be jazz and hip-hop if we expand it to the top 20 or 30.

1) R.E.M. - Murmur
2) Tori Amos - Boys For Pele
3) Kate Bush - The Dreaming
4) Joni Mitchell - Blue
5) Rolling Stones - Exile On Main Street
6) Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin IV
7) Bruce Springsteen - Darkness On The Edge Of Town
8) Bob Dylan - Highway 61 Revisited
9) PJ Harvey - To Bring You My Love
10) U2 - The Unforgettable Fire

My top 4 are probably going to be in those spots for the rest of my life. The others could change depending on when this topic comes up again. I wish I could've fit another R.E.M. album on there, or something by the Beatles or Prince, but 10 is a small number.
