Found an amazing YouTube sub-channel called Behind The Vinyl. It's songwriters talking about their famous songs for 5 to 6 minutes or so. Lots of Canadian and international content like Triumph, Styx, Blue Rodeo, George Thorougood, BTO, Cowboy Junkies, Spandau Ballet, Howard Jones, Rush, Kim Mitchell, Steve Earle, Ian Thomas, Lawrence Gowan, Lee Aaron (she's still hot), B-52s, Gary Numan, Gino Vannelli, Run DMC, and more.

Click on the YouTube icon at the bottom right to get you to the YT channel. There's a scrolling menu to the right. Just scroll down and pick what you want out of 130 selections.
