1- change the mentality towards giving responsibility to as many prospects as possible as early as possible (both AHL and NHL level). This slow cooking with such as deep prospect is doubly stupid. They need to see what that have as early as possible.

2- quit being a scared franchise instead of an innovative franchise (see Tampa)

First and foremost an NHL caliber coach with his system of play. Then evaluate personnel and trade for missing pieces to fit that system (Lavy in his last year had a great system, but did not have matching pieces).
